I wonder if you were the one I was trying to get it to. It was a while ago and I sort of lost track of that person. Private message me and we can talk further.

I only wish they hadn't dropped game development. This game is just screaming for a sequel.

It's the only prper "point and click" adventure game for the blind I've ever played. Some strange puzzles and spotty narrative, but it's a great effort and should serve as a reminder that games for the blind can be more than they are. If I had any game-developing ability, I'd prove that.

I agree that some of the puzzles were strange. And wat the heck was te point of taking the fishing line in the cabin? It even said to do that in the cluebook and yet there's no use for it.

Could be a red harring. Adventure games, especially old school ones often did that sort of thing. You don't see it very often anymore though. For me it was the food preperation puzzle that stumped me. Very few clues were given that I found, even after reading the book on the subject. I have to say I really appreciated how all the text, including a handly and interesting little encyclopedia were narrated. That was a touch even most sighted games don't implement.

Yeah. Atmosphere was one thing the game had going for it, even if a few of the effects were a bit wierd. The secret dor opening for instance was one that sounded obviously fake. It actually sounded like it skipped while it was being recorded, sort of the Eloquence would sometimes stutter while your computer was trying to make a dialup connection to the internet.
